Vroom, Vroom!

Well, we finally did it! We got a new car! It has been a difficult time carting Monkey around with 2 two-door cars. He is starting to get really heavy, and my back has begun protesting each time I slide his infant car seat into the backseat. I stopped carrying him around in it a long time ago, but he still needs to ride in the car in it since we'd never be able to get him into a traditional car seat with the two-door.

We've been discussing a new car since before Monkey was born, but never got around to doing it for various reasons. Then it all snuck up on us last weekend, and we somehow ended up with a new car! It's a 2008 Camry LE. Very Luxurious. It is so much more spacious than the Accord, and rides very smoothly. I haven't quite figured out all the controls etc. yet, but I think that is because we aren't driving it all the time. We still have both the Accord and the Civic, and I plan to drive the Accord to work until Corey sells the Civic. That car can continue to rack up the miles etc instead of the new one.

Today we went to lunch with my parents for my dad's birthday, and we all got to ride there together! We've been taking two cars every time we're with them due to space issues. Today, all five of us fit! It was great. I can't wait to break it in.
