Whew. Am I tired.
I have to give it up for those single parents. They really do deserve some respect.
Today is Endymion. Corey has been gone since 9am and won't be back until probably around 3am. Mom and Dad are in Austin. Ms Jeanne worked today. So Monkey and I had a momma and son day. All day. Alone.
Now, I'm not saying it wasn't an enjoyable day, because it was. We went shopping at Sam's Club, ate some lunch, played a little. We took a walk (since it was actually nice today) and went over the levee to the lake and played in the clover. Then we both got a nap. We folded clothes and watched some TV. Played some more and ate dinner. Then it was bathtime and finally on to bedtime. It really was nice.
Let's still say that I'm just glad I got that nap in. :) How can a one year old have so much more energy??
