It's Festival Time Again!

Festival time has come upon us here in Southeast Louisiana. We kicked off the season with the French Quarter and Strawberry Fests last weekend. Jazz Fest starts in a couple of weekends (great line ups this year too). What a great time of year!

Corey and I volunteered at the FQF again this year; it was my first year since 2005 so it was nice to be back. We worked one of the beer booths and must have sold a thousand beers. We were crankin' them out! If only we could have kept those tips... ;)

Corey's friend from work took this shot of us "behind the bar" so to speak. It is very overexposed for some reason. I tried to fix it as best I could but....see me counting out the cash!






I used a regular film camera (the horror) to take pictures myself, and haven't developed them yet. If they come out nice I'll scan and post 'em.

We always miss the Strawberry Festival since it's the same weekend as FQF, but at least we didn't have to miss out on the strawberries. Corey's coworker gave us two pints and they are the sweetest, juiciest I've ever had. Too bad the Internet only does visual and auditory or I'd share.
