We have been living the last week as a very sickly family. I had a stomach bug Friday and was better Saturday, then relapsed Sunday worse that I had been before. I spent all of Monday on the couch and sleeping at home. Tuesday Monkey was sent home from school for being sick. He stayed home all day Wednesday. I still have not quite felt 100% well myself this whole week.
While Monkey was home sick on Wednesday, I tried to put him down for a nap. He didn't want to go down, but he was crying and rubbing his eyes like he was tired, and it was nap time. So I put him in his crib anyway and left him to figure it out and lie down to sleep. No sooner had I made it to the kitchen when I heard a thud and a different type of cry from Monkey 's room.
I ran back in there to find Monkey sitting on the floor! He had attempted to scale the side of his crib and fell out. He wasn't hurt, and I surely didn't put him back in! I hope it scared him enough not to try it again!
