One of Monkey 's first books is called Cookie See, Cookie Do and it's kind of like a Simon says deal. Elmo does all these different activities and Cookie Monster etc follow suit. One of the things they do is "Reach up high". Ever since Monkey started being able to take directions and do this sort of thing, we've been going through the motions. "Reach up high" even became a tool when we struggled with getting dressed or undressed and we couldn't get him to lift his arms. So "Reach up high" is now a staple in our home.
Recently, when getting Monkey dressed, he said it himself, "Up high!" It's so cute that he's starting to pickup things that we say and repeat them....until he says something we don't want him to repeat! :-)
