Last Christmas I decided that Monkey needed a tradition. He needed a Christmas blanket that we could pull out every December, and that he could sleep with through Christmas. I envisioned excitement and anticipation at pulling out the blanket every year...mine and his!
Now, I don't know if there will be excitement and anticipation with this tradition, but I am going to try anyway. So shortly after Christmas last year, I bought some winter/Christmas fabric to make the blanket. I only started the blanket today. :-) I'm not late yet, right?
Anyway, it is coming out beautifully so far and I am so excited. I've just got the basic rectangular form down right now. I need to sew up a border and I think I might attempt to do some detailing. We'll see how adventurous I get.
