When Monkey came home from school yesterday the day care told us that he'd had some "runny diapers". So we were on the lookout. We could tell that he didn't feel too well.
At one point during the evening he was drinking his milk and asked for more. I refilled his cup and he chugged it down. Immediately afterwards he told me "It hurts." I asked him what hurt and he started rubbing his belly and reaching down his shirt. I tried to lift up his shirt to see what was beneath it but he told me "No touch it". He said that it hurt again and promptly threw up down his shirt, pants, toes and floor.
He looked down at the puddle on the floor, looked at me, pointed and said, "Clean it up".
A boy after my own heart. :) He hates a mess.
We cleaned him and the floor up, and I later asked him if his belly still hurt. He said it didn't. I guess all he needed was a little purging.
