Christmas made it to our house

So even while I've been making it a crafty Christmas, Christmas didn't show up at our house until today.  We went and got our tree, put on one strand of lights (the other was broken so we need a new one), put out the Christmas throw in the living room, found Monkey's singing/dancing snowpeople, and hung the Advent quilt. If "everyone" is in a good mood tonight we may put the ornaments on the tree.

(Is it me, or does anyone else think Corey looks a little devilish here?)

We've got a lot more decorations than that, but they are up in the attic behind bins of other things that need to get sorted through (e.g. Mardi Gras throws, baby boy clothes, etc). We don't have any bookcases in the living room or hutches etc in the dining room yet so there really isn't anywhere to put stuff on display. Maybe next year.

Corey did find some cute wooden cut outs in the trash Thanksgiving weekend, so thanks to that we've got a nice display in the front yard. Now to find the lights to toss in the bushes....
