Yesterday Corey and I went to the Tulane Homecoming game. I figured out it has been over 10 years since I'd been to a Tulane game! It was sort of weird to be there, as all of my alumni experience has really been through Notre Dame. I didn't know any of the songs they sang, and felt weird hearing things like "Go Wave!" and seeing so much enthusiasm for Tulane. You really don't see much of that around here, what with LSU and all.
Anyway, Corey works with the dad of the #1 running back in the country: Matt Forte', so we were invited by him to go to the game. We felt all special and everything. :) Our ticket envelopes say "guest of Matt Forte'", so we are going to get his dad to get him to autograph them for us for when he gets drafted and becomes a big NFL star.
The game was fun, even though we lost by one point and some crappy officiating . Mom & Dad babysat Monkey , so they got a deal out of it too.
