Notre Dame finally won a game! What a terrible start to the season. An 0-5 start is embarrassing, but at least we didn't make it 0-6, which would have tied our longest losing streak ever. We didn't get to watch the game since they showed the Purdue game instead here. I'll have to find out if this win was a fluke or if we played well. At least I get to rub it in to my old boss that our first win was against his alma mater. :)
On a more disappointing note, LSU came back over Florida to win. If you know Corey and me very well, you know that on football weekends we root for three teams: Notre Dame, the Saints, and whoever is playing LSU. I'm not sure why, but for some reason LSU just sticks in our craw. Maybe it's the poor sportsmanship of some of their fans. Who knows, but they irk us. And it's even weirder because we have a lot of friends who graduated from LSU, and who are the nicest people you'd ever want to know. (So nothing against those Tigers!)
So, one losing streak has been stopped. Let's hope our boys in black and gold can pull off ending another one today.
