Friday at day care, they told us that Monkey will be moving up classes on the 11th. He will no longer be an infant! :( This makes me happy and sad at the same time. My little baby is growing up!!
There are so many things I am looking forward to for him: walking, talking, really getting into life and seeing him enjoy all the new things he has yet to experience. Singing songs, drawing, and learning his ABCs.
But I will also miss the wordless emotion and expression of this little boy. Like when he just smiles at you and throws his arms around your neck to give you the biggest hug he can. Or when he ever so slightly raises his eyebrows and gives a little smirk at you when he knows he's being silly or sneaky.
Unfortunately, in today's world, words can be empty. We have to cherish these moments in our children's lives when everything they have to say is expressed through their little bodies...without words at all. These moments are fleeting!
