I got back from my trip to SLC Friday afternoon and boy was I tired. I had to wake up at 3:30 am to catch my flight, and that is not a treat, let me tell you.

I had a really nice time visiting. Everything was very clean, and the people were very nice. There were a lot of beatnik scruffy type homeless people wandering around, which was sort of strange, but other than that...very nice.
Thursday night I drove down to Provo (45 miles) to visit my aunt and uncle. They drove me all through these mountains around the canyon where they live. We went up as high as 7000 feet!! At one point all we were surrounded by was aspen trees. It was so beautiful. We passed Sundance and Robert Redford's property. Then we drove up another mountain, not as high - 6000 ft - that over looked Provo and the Utah Lake. We caught the sun setting in the West and the Moon rising over the mountain to the East. Amazing.
