Cold Up North

Greetings from north of the border!

I'm in Calgary, Alberta, Canada this week for training. It is 9 degrees. Celcius that is! And it took me some time to figure out what it means to me...which is 45. For some reason it doesn't feel as cold as 45 is, perhaps it is a dry cold, as "they" say. Any way it has me longing for fall and winter, and completely dreading the weather I am expecting when I get home.

Calgary (downtown at least) is really nice and clean. The skyscrapers are so pretty, and it is really a small downtown area. It is nice to be able to walk the 4 blocks from my hotel to the class and enjoy the sites and weather. Did you know that Calgary has a huge Chinese population? I have to walk by China Town on the way to the course and it trips me out to see all of that in the middle of a Canadian city. There are tons of Asians everywhere too.

While I am enjoying my time here, I do miss C&C and can't wait to see them when I get home on Friday night!!
